I, 45, got into a fight with my boyfriend, 49, and he said he was breaking up with me. Well, I apologized a couple days later and he thanked me for the apology. Then, another two days later I sent him a text saying I was thinking of him (with a heart emoji). Would the smirk mean he is being sarcastic and cocky? Perhaps him getting self-satisfaction of me wanting to be with him and him not feeling the same? Or could he be being flirty and thinking sexually? What would you think he means by it?
