hi everyone, I (F15) recently started highschool and there’s a guy in my class that I’m really interested in befriending. unfortunately, I have really bad social anxiety and I have no idea how to start a conversation with him. he usually seems to be surrounded by his friends and I’m too scared to approach all of them at once, I’m not exactly keen on befriending any of them other than him either. I found some of his social media accounts online and I noticed we have a few similar interests, but Idk how to talk to him about them without making it seem like I stalked him :,) I’m used to people approaching me first, but he seems really shy and quiet too so I was thinking I should make the first move instead. help?

i suffer from the same problem (M17), no clue how to approach people in that scenario, most my friends i legit have no clue how i made them, if you find out the solution lmk!
