Have you ever received one as a gift? What did you think of it? What did you do…

It really depends on what they do. If they put their hands on me in a aggressive manner that’s one and done. If they cheat that’s one and done. But if they do something that upsets me and we get into a argument then that’s strike one.
What are the strikes?
I mean like he cheated on me? Bye.
But like if he got full fat milk instead of 2% I’m not leaving him over it.
I’m married now but before it depends on the strike. Small stuff that’s not inherently a red flag would be many. Anything big or something I know makes us incompatible or changes the way I feel towards them in a negative way would take just one.
It really depends on the nature of the “strike” (red flag or dealbreaker vs passing “ehhh” kinda thing)
3 strikes for:. Significant lateness, minor rudeness, not calling, etc
1 strike for:. No-show, real rudeness, bad temper, sloppy drunk, drugs
Historically 3 but I’ve been rethinking that. In hindsight I think I give too many chances
I gave her a million chances
She gave me one
Different ppl amiright?
Nah nothing like that. If something major goes wrong then I end it
Too many apparently :))))
The moment it disturbs your peace, your spirit, and body to the extent of losing trust and respect, then gracefully walk out. Because if it doesn’t feel right to your core then it shouldn’t be happening at all
What counts as a strike? Cheating, abuse etc are slightly different to not putting a cup in the dishwasher.
There are certain things that are a one strike deal. Not taking no for an answer about anything is one. Sexism, racism, bigotry are others. Angry scary outbursts. Certain political leanings that indicate moral incompatibility. Obviously any type of abuse. Negging.
But other things are a three strike situation. If I point it out and complain twice and he just keeps doing it, it’s who he is and I’m out. Being thoughtless. Not doing his fair share. Slight disrespect of me or friends. Bad tipping.
It depends. It’s more of a strike system. Some things count as a half strike, and some things count at 2. Either way, they only get 2 strikes.
Personally I’m very forgiving. I value love a lot. Maybe I’m an idiot 🤷🏻♀️ But it’s just how I am. I’ll stick it out until I can’t stomach it anymore.
