Boyfriend is on dating sites looking for travelers

For context, we have been dating for over a year now and about to get married in next two months. Most part of the relationship we have travelled and lived together. This is the first time we are apart for over two months and preparing for our wedding. We both are avid travelers and yes he has more free time in hand, while I am occupied with work. We are in different countries at the moment. He confessed last week after I saw something suspicious, that he connected with few girls on hinge with the only intention to travel with them, and made plans but never met or actually travelled. He says this is not cheating as he was not meeting and if he did I would know about it. Also his situation as he is not in his country and need someone to talk to and travel with. I am hurt because I feel being on dating sites so close to the wedding is a shame. Also, he has 100 ways to connect with people then why he needs strangers? Is this psychological issue? The dire need to meet unknown and this can lead the marriage to hell. Should I suggest therapy to him? He has confessed that texting random people and making random connections is his habit and he needs my help to solve this. what would you do in my situation? where do I go from here?
