I matched with this guy about a week and a half ago and we talked for a bit, slow at first because he went away and then now I am going away for 2 weeks. So we haven’t had a time to have a first date. I do think this guy has potential but I am unsure how to keep him interested as well as not create a false persona of him in my head. I have done this before where I texted a guy alot before our first date and he was nothing like what I had in my head and it was a big flop. Any advice on how to navigate an early dating environment thats all online.
