So, I have kinda a problem with my documents: I was born in US (north Carolina) but my biological parents abandoned me and left me with my uncles in Mexico (they are from Honduras but they are Mexican residents and also they can’t cross the border), so now I’m 19 and I need to go from san Isidro to Wyoming to go living with another uncle, I have my Passport (expired since 2010), my birth certificate and my SSN, I tried to renown all my documents but I can’t since i don’t have Mexican documents and my americans can’t be renown without my parents, and the cherry on the top I need to be a resident of California to have an ID, so this is really stressing me, and I am kinda scared for the bad reviews in greyhound because I don’t want to lose my stuff Wich is all I have (not to many stuff)😢,any helps or good reviews of greyhound could work, (I hope I can even get in the bus or a plane without the ID) sorry for my bad english):

  2. The bigger question is not whether Greyhound will give you a ride, but how do you plan to get from Central America and then into the US without valid identification.

You need to get in touch with the closest US Embassy or Consulate.

  3. You are 19. You can get a new US passport without your parents. The embassy/consulate has 100% dealt with stuff like this before. Go there. You do not need Mexican documents to renew your passport.

  4. If you have your old passport, your birth certificate, and your ssn, renewing your passport at the consulate shouldn’t be difficult. If it’s a true emergency they can even print a temporary one on the spot.

  5. Yes, you need ID for Greyhound, but you will also need ID to enter the United States too. You are an Adult now, please go to the closest US Embassy or Consulate.

  6. You are 19 and seem to have the documentation required to get a new passport from the US Embassy or Consulate- but this is also the agency that would generally be able to help you the most right now (even if you had current ID) since you are in a different country.
