Guess you thought wrong, they’re perfectly legal and no such ban exists in this country.
There’s no law against high caffeine + alcoholic drinks.
You can go to a bar right now and ask for a Jagerbomb, which is Jager + Red Bull.
Even high caffeine drinks aren’t banned – a number of supermarkets voluntarily chose to restrict sales to 16+ or 18+, but they can legally be sold to 5 years old if you wanted.
Also it’s only 7.5% – it sounds high, but there’s cans of beer which are 9%+, particuarly some of the BrewDog triples.
There is no such law here.
