What is your favorite flag and why?

2. I like Argentina’s. Nice and cheerful with the sun in the middle.

3. US states, New Mexico and South Carolina have the best flags.

   International, Wales, Albania, and Bhutan are pretty cool. And Switzerland’s flag is a big plus.

4. I’d say the Klingon flag, because it tends to strike fear into the enemies of the Empire!

5. I like the Gadsten flag for what it represents. Ironically, I also like the U.K. flag for being distinctive and instantly recognizable (much like our Stars and Stripes).

   Japan’s flag has a nice simplicity to it.

   Nepal’s flag is two triangles, so that’s unique.

6. I’m not a fan of the three stripes school of design. Boring. I like Albania, Canada, Japan, Nepal. Sri Lanka’s is hard to draw but is neat.

7. I think Brazil has a pretty cool looking flag.

8. Not a country but I love the Maryland and Ohio flags. They are both extremely unique (especially Ohio, it’s one of the few non square flags in the world)

9. Bhutan. They have a dragon.

    1. Seychelles 🇸🇨 Has a pretty cool design to it!

    2. Turkey 🇹🇷 Simple design and has a nice look to it.

    3. Mexico 🇲🇽 Seal may be complex, but the flag still looks beautiful

    4. Russia 🇷🇺 Simple design and simple colors

    5. Ukraine 🇺🇦 Simple design and simple colors

    6. Germany 🇩🇪 Everyone knows the flag, and loves it too!

    7. Israel 🇮🇱 Happy Rosh Hashanah everybody! And also has a pretty awesome flag too!

    9. Serbia 🇷🇸 The Seal gives it a bit of uniqueness

    10. Italy 🇮🇹 Simple flag that represents the entire country.

    11. India 🇮🇳 A nice flag and a nice color pattern to it!

    13. Vietnam 🇻🇳 Love how simple it is, but also the star looks cool too.

    As for non country flags / State Flags, I like the Gadsten flag, The Texas Flag, Maryland’s flag, New Mexico’s Flag, Arizona’s Flag, and of course I like the Colorado flag too!

13. I love the 1991-3 Russian flag. It’s something about the lighter shades of blue and red that get me. It just sucks that it’s associated with absolutely horrible times in Russia

17. Not that I like it but found interesting was the old Libyan flag. Just one big ol green rectangle, like who thought this would be interesting?

18. Hong Kong, Albania, Japan, Wales, UK, Israel, Papua New Guinea, Argentina, South Korea, the Gadsden flag, Mississippi’s new flag, Maryland & Tennessee. (but i’m biased for TN obviously haha)

19. Not at all impartial here, I’m going with Virginia. I like the symbolism plus I just am partial to it out of a sentimental attachment to my home state.

    I also like Mississippi and Oklahoma

    Outside the US I like the Union Jack, the Welsh flag, the Scandinavian flags

23. The Gadsden Flag is pretty cool. Not a lot of snakes on flags let alone in a good context.

    Also the Republic of Venice Flag is pretty cool.

    I think the Mexican flag is pretty awesome, too, at least the design and not the basic bitch 3 stripes thing everyone uses.

33. In my opinion, Switzerland’s flag is a big plus.

34. US States: Hawaii, Alaska, and Maryland. Countries: South Africa, Jamaica, Greece, Uruguay, Brazil, Bosnia & Herzegovina — All of these are unique. I’m not a huge fan of the boring “state seal” in the middle of a field or three-stripe orientation.

    Historical: for some reason maritime flags have always fascinated me; top of the list has to be the Jolly Roger – a rich history and many many variations.
