My boyfriend is a very good looking guy and a lot of women tend to flirt with him or stare, regardless if I’m there or not. I’ve been trying to not let it affect me, but sadly it does. I know that we are in a relationship, but I can’t help but feel incredibly anxious and jealous when it happens. We’ve talked about it before and he’s fully aware that it happens, but he just shrugs it off and pays them no mind. I’m just terrified of losing him or of him leaving for someone better. How can I change my mindset from this to something more positive?

Either change how you deal with your childhood trauma or start dating not-so-good-looking men.
Statistically, women aren’t as happy in relationships when the man is better looking for this exact reason. Not saying it’s impossible for you to adapt, but this dynamic will always exist in your relationship. You’ll have to find a way to deal with it.
