I’m in a fairly new relationship, a month or so, and my BF is very physically affectionate. I do enjoy holding hands and hugging him, but whenever we cuddle, he just hugs me and doesn’t say anything. I really do enjoy the physical contact, but 40+ mins of pure silence and no other thing to do bores me out of my mind. I try to talk to him during cuddling, but BF doesn’t respond and says he just wants to spend quiet time together. I’m fine with cuddling if we’re watching a movie or something similar, just not pure silence.
What should I do in this situation? What are some ways to approach this that won’t hurt BF’s feelings?
