I did better
Damn if they weren’t right. But that’s a lesson I had to learn the hard way. Several times. But I got it right in the end, and that’s all that matters to me.
Depended on the situation. Sometimes agreed with them. Sometimes disagreed with them. Sometimes told them I didn’t want their unsolicited opinions on my relationship. Sometimes stopped talking to that person.
I agreed with them and ended up filing for divorce
I did do better! Last dude was a solid three. My forever man is a 25.
I got told that constantly over the course of a 16 year relationship.
I eventually divorced him.
I did a whole lot better.
I ignored her. It was a super insecure, petty friend of my partner. She used to tell me all the time I could do better, right in front of him. I ended up cutting her out.
I’m sure that it depends. I love my husband, and my mom didn’t like him because he wasn’t the same nationality as me. So she tried to convince me that I could do better. I just stopped listening to her. After about half a year, she came around.
