Scene: I called him up one night as I felt they were giving me less attention ever since LDR started. I was telling them that he calls were short and they always started the call with “I have to go now in like 5 min, I am going to a club with my friends” No GN/GM texts (I used do say the same). Then they said something along the lines of can’t I live my life etc. etc and the call got cut due to network issues. They thought I did it and called me back with an emotional outburst saying things like I am selfish, I only care about myself etc etc.
They used to send me a lot of messages/posts during the initial few months of the relationship but slowly I noticed a gradual decline, Did not see the messages that I sent them, claiming that they were “busy with school work”. Which is fine but giving 15 min of your undivided attention is not something difficult. Used to take HOURS, I mean HOURS to reply back. Ppl even take their phones to the washroom, it’s 2023 ffs!
We broke up like 4 days later and during that time I ended up texting them about my feelings etc etc and also apologized for the mistakes that I did unintentionally. They left my paragraphs on read and directly texted not to text them again as we broke up lol.
TLDR: We have been dating for a less than a year and did LDR for a month when I went back to school. Bf broke up with me over text/call suddenly after an emotional outburst (LDR). They bottled up their feelings and I was not even aware. The issues could be easily fixed but they did not want to. Unfollowed me and removed me from IG. No blocking business. But they see my stories? (like going to the search bar, searching up your username, and clicking your stories is too much work haha) Then a couple of days later they followed me back and texted something, I saw it but unread the message and then they deleted the message. Wtf is going on?

  1. Someone who can’t express their wants and needs in a relationship isn’t mature enough to be in a real romantic relationship. You dodged a bullet.
