I just graduated college and am volunteering with AmeriCorps. I sit in an office all day and rarely talk to anyone. I’m looking for a part time job to make some extra money. I’d love to find somethings a little more social so I can work on my conversation skills.

Does anyone have any ideas? Right now I’m thinking retail or bartending.

  1. Any job that people HAVE to ask you questions about your establishment. A Gym front desk person comes to mind, part time real estate agent (primarily opening doors and show houses for licensed real estate agents), hotel host, casino compliance officer, public dog and cat rescue and adoption places. Pretty much any job where you are the subject matter expert and people come to you for the information they need. Do not look for a job where you have to chase people around to check on them to see if they are finding everything alright or with canned or scripted answers.
