She’s literally living (albeit in her parents) huge house. My car is small, has scuffs on the bumper (even with black duct tape to stop the plastic falling off)

I’m even thinking if it’s worth going at all. She’s 21 and doesn’t drive but still, I have a good job but she might be put off big time

  2. If she is put off why the fuck would you want to date someone that shallow anyway?

    Dating is about learning who a person is, most of the time you learn that you don’t want to date them.

  3. Go pick her up and act like it’s the most normal thing ever. Walk confidently like you are supposed to be there. Don’t apologize or bring up the car.

    If she is worth your time she won’t care and the parents don’t matter yet.

  4. The car my dad picked my mom up in for their first date had the back doors tied together so the doors wouldn’t fly open when he went around a corner. My grandparents belonged to a country club.

    They have been married 57 years.
