I (21F) went on two dates with this guy (23M), we both stated we had a really good time and would like to see eachother again. We texted often, we had a couple of days where he stopped replying because he was going through an emotional couple of days ( his recently deceased fathers birthday). We began texting again after I reached out again on Sunday. On monday I told him I was available if he wanted to see me after work, he works 12 hour construction job shifts. He stated he was too tired and wanted to relax, to which I understood. Today he said he wants to hangout with me and asked what days was I off, I told him I’m free tomorrow but he said he already had plans for tomorrow. He asked what other days I have off but I let him know I’m busy all week next week. I want to see him, but it also seems like he wants to see me only on his time, which I don’t like. He’s someone I’m interested in. I’m unsure of whether or not to ask him directly if he’s actually interested in me enough for it to lead to something serious in the future or for him to make time to see me if he truly does want to see me. I know it’s early in the dating phase but I also feel that when men truly like you they’ll make the time. Or am I wrong?
