Hi guys,
I just bought my 1st house. The 1st owner of the house left his GE APEL70LWQ1 Dehumidifier in the basement. However, it seems like not working in my eyes.
If I dont touch the device for few secs, it shows the level is 60%, then I set the level to 40% (I click the +/- in the middle of the device). I dont hear anything is running. Btw the filter indicator is not on. However, if unplug the power, put it back, then turn it on. I can tell, the device is running! A lot of wind was coming out of the top vent. However, it will stop running again soon.
I also tried to change the level to the min 30% I think. It still cant trigger it to run. At least right now, the only way is …. just unplug the power and plug it back.
I know this is silly, but this is my 1st time using a dehumidifier, so, someone could give me few advice ? Thank you!
