Husband is on dating app . Is it considered as cheating or not ?

1. Wtf??? That’s totally cheating. The point of dating is to get intimate with someone. She needs a new guy.

4. Let’s flush out all the loopholes so we can arrive definitively at the obvious answer:

   Was he open and honest about planning on using it?

   Does it have a feature where he can find and make friends?

   Is he using it to find and make friends?

5. I’d 1000% consider that to be cheating and I’d end my marriage over that.

8. There are a few ways its possibly not cheating. One is an open marriage, but you’d probably be aware of that. Another is if you gave him a hall pass, but again, you would know that. Another possibility is its an old account and he doesn’t actually use it, but I think they deactivate you after a certain amount of time, so… yeah he’s probably cheating.

10. Yes, it’s cheating that’s why he’s on the dating app. The purpose of the dating app is to date. He is seeking out women to date and hookup with. She needs to save the screenshots of his profile and any messages she finds. She also needs to keep a close watch on the bank accounts and get her finances together. She will eventually need it for her divorce lawyer.

11. It’s cheating depending on most peoples boundaries. I have one friend who has no problem with her husband being on apps but they don’t escalate beyond that.

    I have another friend who was used to catfish on the apps. Similar situation to yours, someone said “hey I look I found your husband on this app” and he had to report the profile. Someone was using his Facebook pictures. So definitely confirm that this person actually saw him and it’s not impersonation, but that’s probably pretty rare

16. Your friend must be joking. Did she tell you why he’s on a dating app? Typically the post would say what he’s looking for on the app. Does he care if you hooks up with someone on the app? Regardless if she did not know, it’s cheating
