Can I have a barclays bank account with a santander savings account?

1. Yes. I have accounts with a number of banks.

   A few accounts require you to also have a current account with the bank, but most don’t and you can always just open another current account

2. Try Nationwide instead and they’ll give you 200 quid.

3. Yes. Unless you’re trying to get an existing customer exclusive deal.

4. Yes, you can have as many accounts as you like with as many banks.

   Some savings accounts might stipulate you need a current account with the same bank, but that’s generally to get access to a promotion or special rate.
