I (28F) know this is a total first-world problem and some of you will criticize me or say there’s “no such thing as being too wet” (like my husband said).

But I’m getting like…. drenched, during sex. It honestly takes away from my pleasure as it decreases my sensation. Is there anything I can do to keep from getting so wet? 😭

Or for my fellow super-soakers out there, what do you do to combat it? Bonus points if it doesn’t ruin the mood, like toweling myself off does.

  1. My advice

    1. It may have more to do with how you think about it. Would you be upset if your husband was “too hard”? Being wet is sign of arousal.
    2. Your husband can “dry himself” by laying on the sheets after he enters you. That would take some of your wetness off him without pulling out a hand towel.

  2. If you can have your husband pull out his member entirely to “air dry” between strokes, it may help out and not detract from the actual experience! Can also be a good way to tease.

  3. Pulling it out and jerking it for a few seconds usually works too get it dry without ruining the moment

  4. If you’re a rider I’d say try sliding off and grinding on his leg for a minute then back on. If you’re lucky and your man has a shaved head, dry that super soaker off on his head. Only suggest because my wife will be really wet to the touch and then grind her way up and all over my body and all that good stuff gets left on everything but my cock. Have fun.

  5. Toweling it is. My boyfriend has standing permission (and encouragement) to stick it in while I’m sleeping and it’s dry, but it’s not great for his dick either.

  6. I had a FWB that would get so wet during sex that we would both lose some sensation since there was literally no friction and my dick would slip out a lot in certain positions. We ended up keeping a small towel by the bed and we’d wipe off whenever we changed position or wanted to make out for a while. It worked pretty well.

Do you take a multi-vitamin or anything with Omega-7? If so, stop taking that. It’s known to increase vaginal wetness.

Lastly, and I wouldn’t suggest this, but you will be less wet if you’re not fully hydrated.

  7. This happens to my wife occasionally. If she gets too wet beforehand, she can’t feel anything, basically. It can be annoying, especially for her. When she’s that wet. She’s super in the mood, but if she can’t feel it, she has trouble getting off.

  8. I’m like you. My husband just loves it. I’ve learned to deal with it and in return I’ve learned how to use my “wall muscles” to help keep control and sensation.
To me, it was like I was soooo wet id lose grip. But I learn to squeeze hard so it balanced it out

  9. “First-world problem” because no ones having sex out there, and with all the lack of water there’s no way for them to get too wet

  10. It sounds like he’s doing all the right things…

    Could be worse…

Maybe get him to go down on you until you are spent…..
