I usually see them in B&M or home bargains.
Can’t comment on the quality though.
Boots
Home Bargains. 99p and they last.
Amazon. Pack of 5 for a tenner or so. Excellent.
I buy online so they match my prescription – Selectspecs or glassesdirect
There’s a few options for places online that will do pretty cheap prescription glasses, for instance headline figure of £6 with select specs, think that’s before P&P, though on some previous deals I think ordered a few and got some for £3.50 each or something.
There used to be lots of places that offered free eye tests. Not many now, but it looks like aceandtate might do if there’s one near you. Or you may be eligible for free eye tests through work or NHS funded.
Wish.Com. Cheap but they work just fine. Some of their distance prescription lenses are good as emergency spares.
I got a stop gap pair of glasses from Ali express for £20. Did the job.
Usually a UK seller on ebay.
I have a couple pairs depending on need.
I have half moon from amazon for when I want to look above something. i.e. looking up at a pattern then looking back down for x stitch. (or to the TV then x stitch)
A pair of foldable ones that I keep in a hard case in my bag for shops and stuff. tbh if I need to read when out in the shops I just use my phone to take a piccie and magnify that way.
The fully fold downs I wanted I only found for about £15 off a random website. They fold up in half and the legs do too, so it’s teeny case for my bag. Otherwise the cheapo store ones does fine for full lensed ones.
Savers. £1.75 upwards.
