How would you define a hard working parent?

  1. A hard working parent to me is a parent that’s doing the most for their kid(s), whatever that may be. Whether it’s a stay at home parent raising their kids and tending to the home, or a parent who is going to work bringing in money to support their family. A hard working parent to me is someone who prioritizes their child/ren and does everything possible to create a secure, stable, fulfilling life for them. The external structure of their life is less important than the effort they are putting in toward the well-being of their child/ren.

  2. Someone who is present emotionally and physically despite the chaos of work and chores. What’s the point of working overtime shifts when you don’t know their favorite food or color, forget their ages, and never once told them a word of encouragement or validation? You should’ve just put them up for adoption instead.

  3. Present and available for experiences with/for kids, in lieu of sparkling floors and ironing up to date.
