What do you do during long car rides with your partner? I (24F) have a 4 hour car ride with my (28M) boyfriend tomorrow.
I will be driving, and when we do these trips he usually is on his phone the whole time. We listen to his music sometimes, my music sometimes. But i just feel like it’s so hard to get into a conversation and talk to him. We’ve listened to some murder podcasts before, and that has led to discussion. But he gets bored of them and wants to listen to music. Do you have any tips to make the trip more enjoyable / better conversation? Or any games / ideas for fun? Thank you

Have you *told* him that you would like to engage with him more during the drive?
Play a game.
Play the ABC game !! Find an object that starts with a letter, or sign that has a letter of the alphabet and keep going until you get to z!!
We do quizzes ! There are a lot in podcast format (we like Podquiz on Apple podcast for example). You can find the answers together and he can write them down and count the points.
