How to be less passive when it comes to relationships/dating?

Basically what the title says. I’ve searched some websites. but they’re usually based on a single person’s idea.
I’d like to hear everyone’s thoughts.

Need to know this cause, I can be WAAYYYY too passive. Too much of a gentleman(I uuuhhh won the gentleman award in high school), but can’t find someone who’s interested
