Good morning! The last day of my two – week vacation. I have a midnight flight and have to be back at work the next day. Yikes.
The Aegean is so beautiful in spring. Everything is very green, full of wild flowers, insects and birds. And no people!! Just heaven. The only downside is that the summer fruits are not available yet. Oh well. I even went for a swim a few times. It was cold af, but totally worth it.
Happy Mothers Day to all that celebrate it on this day.
Today is the last day I will spend in the Ardennes. Tomorrow morning I will return to the flat fields of Flanders. I feel completely reborn after a few days of adventurous hiking!

I’m not sure going on the first ride of the motorcycle season very late at night was such a good idea, I very nearly froze to death. It’s always great when you come home and your fingers are so numb that you can’t even take your helmet off, not to even mention being able to operate devices that require such a high level of dexterity as zippers.
In other words, it’s still cold in Finland, at least during the nights. But at least it’s not freezing.
