It depends on what you did tbh. For me, it was substance abuse. We weren’t good financially, I wasn’t good mentally, and that become a recipe to escape through drugs or alcohol.
For me, it was changing my behaviour and thoughts, catering more to my family, and finding happiness in that.
Change will always be the only way, don’t go out of your way to pick up extra chores because you’re in the wrong but actually change whatever it is that’s causing the separation and work on that. Dedicate more time to your partner and actually hear her needs and then fulfill them.
