Spring seems to always move so much slower than autumn. One day it’s summer and the next week you’re scraping ice off your car windows.
Quite a funny situation yesterday.
My partner and I do translations (English-Italian mostly,sometimes Spanish too).She does it more than me as she has the time and she is also better than me 😉
Yesterday someone called and asked for a quick translation.She told this person the price for a job that would take about 3 hours.
The client didn’t want to pay it though,she suggested paying per word instead.
My partner advised her that this would cost more but she insisted.
So she did the translation and it indeed came out 20 euros more expensive than the original quoted price.
People are strange sometimes 😉
I find it a little disturbing that (at least here), almost 10 October temperatures are still the same as in August.
I remember when I was a child that this was the time to take out the heavy clothes.
