Vanity. I want to be hot for as long as I can. And I have a spouse that reciprocates taking care of himself so it’s easy to do. Not to mention, I’m already in a good rhythm, what would be the point in stopping now?

Oof yeah I’m alone a lot (and single) and haven’t figured out how to do that. I’ve realized all my motivation to take care of myself comes from having people around me and not wanting to appear crazy or haggard.
For my particular situation, at least, I’m thinking that I need to figure out how to care about myself for my own sake, and value my comfort and happiness. The motivation has to be for me, not other people–I just don’t know how to develop that mindset. Antidepressants have kinda helped in the past, though.
By always keeping in mind the fact that maintaining health, personal hygiene, a positive mindset and a positive visual appearance that gives the strangers the best possible first impressions is crucial to my survival.
I take SNRIs to rectify my dopamine levels.
I mean if i don’t take care of myself, who will? Also wanting to be hot and healthy as long as possible
