How would you feel if a man wore a pink ribbon to show his sympathy?

  1. It’s October so I’d assume if he’s in the states he’s supporting breast cancer awareness? Is that still a thing? I guess I’d think he knows someone that had it and he’s wearing it because of them. It’s not an uncommon thing.

  2. As they should? Breast cancer affects men as well. I don’t know if it would be a question if women supported a cause for testicular cancer, or a man supporting cause for ovarian cancer.

  3. Good for him? Men have breast tissue and can get breast cancer too, I wouldn’t just assume he was “showing sympathy”.

  4. Who the fuck wants to be an object of sympathy?

Or someone’s virtue signalling project of the day or month.

    That takes any meaning away.

Do it because you care, do it for someone you LOVE not an object of sympathy and pity.

    I dislike this so much.
It’s almost like you hope a woman will accidentally fall onto you, you can weave a story with tears in your eyes about a family member or g.f who died.

Wear it subtly and without need to broadcast it or go out wearing it for attention and arse pats
