I take my breakfast and lunch to work:
B: granola, fruit and yoghurt
L: bagel, which I’ll toast at work, cream cheese, tomatoes and crisps
D: I’m only cooking for myself tonight so it’ll probably be a pizza.

Do you take food to work or do you buy it/get it free?

  1. I work nights from home. I’ve just finished so I’m having some lightly salted rice crackers and a can of hobgoblin atm.

  2. No breakfast. Lunch: a mexican rice bowl using leftovers from last night. Dinner: slow cooker ragu alla bolognese with pasta.

  3. Salmon and cream cheese on toasted bagel for brekkie, with some tomatoes and roasted asparagus.

Leftover lentil lasagne for dinner, with a massive salad.

5 bean chilli for tea, with jacket spuds.

Got some fruit and a bit of homemade rocky road for snacks.

  4. Breakfast was smoked salmon with scrambled eggs as it needed eating.

Lunch is a chickpea and spinach curry with rice

Dinner will be beans on toast as I’ve promised our child his favourite meal.

  5. I’ve just had two crumpets for breakfast.
    Lunch is soup and crackers.
Dinner will be whatever I can be bothered to make – I’m travelling to an in person meeting so will be home late.

  6. Cup of tea for breakfast

Slow cooked chicken curry / rice (batch cooked on the weekend) for lunch. WFH so I try to cook lunches on the weekend but if I’m too busy on the weekend I’ll just have frozen microwave meals for lunch. This week was curries but next week will be lasagne.

Going to the pub for dinner tonight as we don’t have the kiddo, tomorrow will be a sausage pesto pasta, Friday will be fish and chips.

  7. Crumpets for breakfast, just about to have a banana, protein pot around half ten, chicken pasta for lunch. Haven’t decided on dinner yet. Maybe some fish.

  8. I forgot to grab snacks this morning, I normally take a protein yogurt pouch and Aldi pepperami. Lunch is Huel bolognaise this week and I’ll either go without snacks or get something from our shop/canteen. I begrudge buying at work though because everything except their cooked breakfast is expensive, I’m going to be getting there too late to justify the time getting breakfast (unless my manager is working from home).

  9. We’ve got a beef stew in the slow cooker for tonight, for lunch I’ll probably grab something from Starbucks as I’ll be near a really nice one on my rounds today.

    And will probably skip breakfast

  10. Leftover chicken. Leftover muffins. Whatever I can find in the kitchen without having to actually cook.

  11. Porridge for breakfast. Soup for lunch. Banana and peanuts inbetween. Jacket, cheese and beans for tea

  12. Breakfast: A pint of beetroot juice.

Lunch: lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, red peppers, beetroot, tuna.

Tea: Homemade chicken curry with white rice.

  13. Breakfast – Banana and protein shake

    Supper – protein shake

… yeah I’m not a foodie most of the time.

  14. 7,8,9 am Coffee,
    banana about 11,
cheese and chorizo toastie for 1pm lunch,
3ish I’ll eat any fruit that is starting to look past it and have mint tea.
8pm dinner- veg satay and noodles.
That looks healthy except for the bottle of red wine I’ll share with dinner. We only see each other once a week ish (both have shared custody, different kids) so don’t do it too often.

  15. I’m off today so Greggs Breakfast, 2 steak bakes 2 sausage rolls, lunch probably some peri peri chicken and rice and dinner might even splash out on a Chinese. I’m working Saturday this week so today is my fat boy Saturday.

Doing the intermittent fasting thing so daytime food is a distant memory.

  19. Skipping breakfast like I always do now. Lunch will be a chicken salad and dinner will be a fishcake with some mash and peas.

  20. I’m doing TRE and finding it quite easy now (after the initial week!). I have a coffee within an hour of getting up (just finished it). I’ll have breakfast around 11am, which is bran flakes, Greek yog and fruit, this week’s fruit is banana and blueberries, and of course a brew. I may have a smackerel of something around 3ish if I’m feeling hungry, usually some carrot and hummus or a few cherry toms, a boiled egg, etc. Not enough to call it a lunch. Then tonight’s dinner is crock pot chicken, which is an every changing recipe of my own devising and involves throwing chicken thighs, a load of veg (this one will probably be carrot, parsnip, leek, mushrooms and I think there are some green beans in the veg rack that need used), a handful of lentils or pearl barley and whatever herbs and seasonings find their way into my hand into the slow cooker and dishing it out at tea time. We will always have a ‘pudding’ after dinner, normally two biscuits or a bowl with few sweeties (eg eight maltaesers, eight M&Ms), but it was my birthday yesterday so tonight and tomorrow it will be using up the rest of the cake, and finished by 8pm. Then nothing but tea or coffee until 11am tomorrow.

It’s going well, last week I was 2st 2lb down, this week I’ve only ‘put on’ 3 premenstrual lbs instead of the usual 7, so that’s looking good for next week.

  24. I am ill in bed, just had a cup of tea and a pain au chocolat for breakfast. Got some home made veg lasagne leftover from last night and was thinking about making a Thai curry for dinner but not sure I’ll be up to it so may rethink that one.

  25. I work in a place with a very well subsidised canteen, and with excellent food.

apart from that, I generally bring my own lunch, which is usually one of my wife’s homemade soups and a sandwich. Today is Zupa Szczawiowa (Sorrel soup) and swojska ham sandwich

  26. Saw they had festive food on the meal deal options in boots so got myself a vegan festive sandwich, paprika max crisps (saving them as well as my Pepsi max) and I ate the sandwich on the train home for breakfast.

Since I’m home my dads taking me for lunch so hopefully will sit indoors for some fish and chips because it’s what I miss at uni (if not I’d love a roast).

For dinner it will be the crisps I before I head out in a rush for a little event thing

  27. I’ve got a whole lot of lurve on my menu today, oooh yeah!

Edit: Ham sandwich and pickled onion monster munch oooh yeah!
