I’m in a new relationship and I think it’s been assumed that I’m a Christian. He is a Christian, a man of God. He attends church. I’m a female. Religion is not easy for me to talk about. I come from a Jewish household, but never felt a string Jewish connection and therefore, never practiced it. Now that I’m older, I want to explore Christianity and become more spiritual.
How would you bring up this conversation? I don’t think my upbringing will affect how he feels about me. We have both said “I love you. ” We both feel very connected to each other, but I feel this is an important conversation to have. Is there a good way to approach it?
