I’m the kind of person to use all the pockets of my winter coat. I carry stuff like: usb cables, battery bank, some medication, glasses, wipes, flashlight + some more smaller stuff. It’s like 3 full medium sized pockets (or 2 large pockets) of stuff.

And then when there’s summer approaching, I suddenly don’t have access to so much stuff/pockets since at summer I wear either jeans or shorts and no jacket because hot weather.

What would you suggest, how do you usually carry around stuff?

  2. Saving this post. I’m having the same dilemma. I’m thinking a small rucksack that I’ll sling in the car or carry with me but it seems excessive.

  5. If yo don’t have a car to keep all your stuff in and don’t wanna wear a man purse. Then a back pack or a Fanny pack. That’s what I wear from time to time

  6. Easy. Only ever need a few things in my pockets… phone, wallet, keys, knife.

    Anything else either lives in the truck already or gets put into a bag.

  8. I just carry less stuff, or I use a backpack. My normal EDC is keys, wallet, phone, chapstick, knife, mask.

  9. My winters aren’t cold enough to reliably have a real coat on anyway.

    If you need a bunch of crap with you carry a messenger bag or backpack.

  10. I usually just stuff it all in my pockets, but it’s probably why I’ve got holes in them all, get a bum bag and some eshay clothing, they seem to be in at all times of the year

  11. I hate it when my wife gives me some small thing to put in my pocket when we are out, so no advice for someone that carries an entire survival kit in their pockets.

  14. I’ve never seen a guy carry so much useless stuff… I can see carrying a battery bank with a short cord but the majority of everything you listed is unnecessary for 99% of life. Maybe rely less on technology and enjoy the weather?

    Or you can always buy Cargo pants

  15. I use cargo pants or pirate shorts that also have multiple pockets during summer.

    I also find summer jackets that have multiple pockets, too.

    But I barely use the two front pockets xD

  16. My answer is to just not carry a lot of stuff. Or wear shorts with L O T S of pockets

  17. I hate carrying anything other than my phone, wallet and keys. If I HAVE to take anything else it goes in the wife’s purse

  18. I carry as little as possible, anything more than phone, wallet, and keys would be a bag

  22. Eh it’s shorts/t-shirt wether almost all year here so I have the same amount of pockets year round.

    Even when wearing a hoodie, that pocket is just a hand warmer.

  24. If I needed to carry that much stuff on the daily, I’d use a backpack. Otherwise my summer and winter EDC is exactly the same and fits my normal amount of pockets.

  26. All my pants/shorts are full of cargo pockets, which is more than what my winter coat has.

  28. How about use a bag? Or a Fanny pack? Or a man purse? Or leave the shit at home, you are a grown man now?
