  2. I counted 15 but it’s possibly more because I’m not sure if some of the places that I visited were a part of a national park or not (mostly places that I visited as a kid and don’t have ta good memory of).

  3. I’ve never kept count, but at least a dozen Canadian ones over the years. Canada also has a lot of historic sites that are managed within the national parks system though most aren’t actually within a national park. I go to those whenever I can too.

  4. 39 throughout the world. All the national parks are gorgeous in their own way but my favourites thus far have been…Baniff, Grand Canyon, Grand Teton, Torres del Paine, Masai Mara, Glacier, Yellowstone, Fiordland, Denali, Great Smokey Mountains, Plitvice Lakes.

  5. 22 in the US and I’ve traveled to about half of them solo. Don’t let that stop you! Lots of research and join the subreddits and other social media communities for the parks you’re interested in going to first. They are all absolutely wonderful in their own ways (except the Gateway Arch lol)

  6. Not nearly enough.

I’ve been to a handful of State parks, too. I often forget which are which, I like them all.

Yosemite, Kings Canyon, Sequoia, Point Reyes National Seashore, Redwoods (National and State), Shasta-Trinity National Forest (California). Death Valley and Joshua Tree are definitely on my list. I really want to take my motorcycle to Death Valley, so many good trails and stuff.

    Crater Lake (Oregon).

New Orleans Jazz National Historical Park (Louisiana).

Various East Coast ones from a trip my parents took me on when I was a toddler. I have zero memories of any of this trip but there’s photos, I don’t know our itinerary other than it included multiple East Coast States and down to Florida. I’m pretty sure we went to the Everglades.

  7. Dartmoor, Exmoor, Loch Lomond and Trossachs, Pfälzer Wald (that’s where I’m from), Harz, Eifel, Vosges du Nord.

  8. 10, I’ve been to Acadia, Shenandoah, Grand Teton, Yellowstone, Grand Canyon, Arches, Canyonlands, Bryce Canyon, Rocky Mountain, and Zion.

My dream is to visit every US national park

  9. As a Canadian living near the Rockies for over ten years this is unintentionally longer than expected lol

    Canada:
    Banff
    Yoho
    Glacier
    Mount revelstoke
    Jasper
Probably elk island but not sure

    USA:
    Grand Canyon

    Poland:
    Tatra mountains

    Germany:
    Saxony Swiss
    Black Forest

    Czech Republic:
    Bohemian switzerland

I’ll be moving to the Berchtesgaden area soon so I guess I can tick that off and the Bavarian Forest soon too 🥳 Maybe I should start making lists of parks to go to

  10. US only: Zion, Yellowstone, Yosemite, Glacier, Mount Haleakala, Grand Canyon, Death Valley, Saguaro, Joshua Tree, Redwood Forest (if you count it), Mammoth Caves, and Mesa Verde. I’ve driven past White Sands and Petrified Forest but never gone in. I’m hoping to go to some others in Washington, Colorado, or Utah in 2024 depending on where my job takes me.
