None that I can prove.
Happened a couple of times. Mostly because my clothes looked too cheap.
The Army happened to really appreciate my brick-eating face.
I’m not sure? I don’t think most employers would admit to something like this and make up a different reason instead.
where i am from (germany) my turkish surname sure is a major reason for getting turned down
Who the hell knows
Oh man, I’ve definitely been there. Sadly, appearance can sometimes play a role in the job-hunting game. I’ve had a few rejections where I’m pretty sure it had something to do with how I looked. It stings, no doubt about it. But the good news is, those rejections led me to find places where I was valued for who I am, not just how I look. So keep pushing, keep looking, and you’ll find your spot too!
Nome and if that was the case. I’d sue. Lookism or something
Unless they are stupid enough to say it, how would you know?
Not rejected, but fired. I worked at a party supply warehouse and was the only guy there and the women were obviously attractive and the manager was a dude and was constantly flirting/hitting on them. I was wonderful at the job but they accused me of stealing from the till (with no proof mind you as I ran my numbers every evening before close and was rarely if ever off). Came in to pick up my last paycheck and lo and behold there was a new hire; blonde with DDs.
Their loss.
100% sure they wouldn’t let me be a nun because of my beard and penis.
Yes or kinda because I’m still not really sure what happened lol
I tried to get a job in one company a couple of days ago and hr told me, that men are not allowed to have long hair and if I am not willing to cut it, there is no point in interview. So I am unemployed still
