Hello everyone!
While I (M28) was in college, my parents moved to a new city. After graduating, I went back to live with them while looking for work.
In this city I don’t know anyone and I have no idea how to get to know new people. I specify that the city in question is small (about thirty thousand inhabitants).
I’m a shy guy and I’ve always had a hard time making friends, so I’m open to any advice

It’s hard when you’re in a place where you didn’t grow up and don’t have many (or any) current connections. I’ve found that following a procedure can help a lot:
