I live in Asia and it’s pretty hard to get decent fitting slim shirts here for a 6’1’’ slim guy with broad shoulders, so I’m planning on stocking up when I’m back for Christmas this year.

My go-to before the pandemic was T.M.Lewin but I understand that they’re now an online-only store. I would much rather try shirts on and feel the fabric etc., and I won’t have the time to send anything back if the size is wrong.

Does anyone have and in-store recommendations, similar to TM Lewin? All I can think of is M&S and TKMax, but I don’t think it’s got to that point quite yet.

Many thanks!

  1. Charles Tyrwhitt is always a good call for shirts.

They have various fits, and can make adjustments.

Not that fond of their suits, as I find them to wear out pretty quickly.

  2. Charles Tyrwhitt because once you work out the right size and cut – you can just buy that over and over in various styles off online sellers.

    Look out for offers.

  3. Charles Tyrwhitt let you try on shirts, but the range in the shops is not that large. Prepare to go there on your first day and order for delivery while you’re still here. They usually have a large price break for 4 shirts without customisations.

  4. I’ve found Next to be half the price and 90% of the quality of proper high-end shirts, and their slim fit means real-life slim rather than scrawny like a catwalk model. Recommended.
