Lots if not most people expect sex before developing a deeper relationship, so how do I kinda… dissuade that?
I used to go by ace/demi but as their are still sex favourable aces and demi’s I still wind up going through a whole thing where we talk for a bit and they start expecting stuff or trying to get frisky, which really just makes things feel like a waste of time. I’m not as repulsed as I used to be and I’d like to be intimate but I’d like to be in a relationship before people start wanting to do intimate stuff, or for the relationship not to require sex to function.
It sucks, I wish there was more to a relationship than just friends with benefits (in the dating/getting to know eachother stage).
I don’t want to put it in my bio because theres so little space as there is but I don’t know how to cut the crap because being straight forward can make me seem rude/abrasive and/or a challenge which just pisses me off more. I don’t know if theres a solution but I wish people would at least respect eachother a bit more, hookup with people looking to hookup and date people who want to date. *sigh*
