Would you initiate and send a friend request on Facebook or Instagram to someone you met just for 10 minutes yesterday? What if I know this guy name, but they don’t know my name? Would be weird or creepy?

The conversation went well, but I forgot to ask for their contact on the day so I looked it up. I just want to keep in touch, but maybe they think differently. What do you guys think? Thanks all

  1. I think it’s worth a shot, but, don’t be offended or take it too personally if they’re weirded out by you looking up their info. I’d definitely be a bit freaked out, but, depending on how the Convo went, I’d either just block them and carry on as if nothing happened, or excitedly talk to them

Though, do make sure you’ve actually got the right person first!

  2. I mean…

    What happens if you do:

    * best case: they accept your request and you get to chat/talk
    * worst case: they don’t accept the request or block you (probably not the right person for friendship/relationship anyways) (if worse then this happens they aren’t mature enough)

    vs

    What happens if you don’t:

    * best case: you might randomly meet again (could be days/months/years)
    * worst case: you lose the chance for a friendship/relationship (depending on what you were going for)

looks to me like a clear decision
