How long until you don’t remember when someone did something awkward? I feel like I keep doing dumb little things I want people to forget. I am calmer and cooler now after several months on this job but have a few stressful customer moments where they get in the way, im stopped waiting to get somewhere and wasting time.

  1. Honestly I forget about it pretty much right away lol. I think more about stuff IVE done rather than other people but that’s just me. It probably isn’t even that awkward in other peoples eyes

  2. I’ll be honest: no. *But.* I take it on as part of who they are, and usually it’s the awkwardness, the quirks, that make me like them. Because I’m not looking for perfect people, I’m looking for interesting people. Or kind people. Or fun people. The awkwardness is just another trait that I like about them. That makes me think about them fondly.

  3. Depends on what exactly happened and how severe it was. We all have awkward moments. Is anyone 100% socially savvy all the time? But if you do something serious that causes a lot of drama it’s more likely to be remembered.

  4. Usually nearly instantenous. You make a mental comment and just move on.

People are usually to busy remembering all the dumb thing they did to remember the dumb thing someone else did.
