1. Not good. She didn’t get away because I let her get away. She went away because she decided I wasn’t the one.

2. A polite and friendly conversation out of compassion from me with no hang-ups. Design the present interaction for the best possible outcome because nobody knows what the future holds.

3. Probably a little awkwardness at first. But I’d have to say goodbye quickly–I’m a father now and can’t have that kind of distraction now.

4. It’d probably unfold with me looking like a psychopath for remembering a guy I talked to for like an hour once at a party 15 years ago and then never saw again.
