I [29M] have been talking to this girl I share a class with. We flirted, I told her I like her and she reciprocated. She was very into me. I asked her out to a date this Wednesday and she said yes. I sometimes tell she’s beautiful. She has been taking forever (about a day and a half between messages) replying to my messages in the last 3 days. I told her about going for a walk together and she told me it would be perfect. I then replied in my last message: “yes, it is very romantic 😉”. She did not text back since then. I hope that this didn’t scare her and that her delayed replies are not because of that.
It’s not clear in my head if those delays are usual for her to text back given that I’m very anxious and that I am panicking.
I know she has two exams this Tuesday. This may be why she is taking so long to text back.

It’s possible she’s just not interested in a romantic relationship and was looking to friendzone you the whole time but if that’s true it’s good you know that now and not a month from now. You didn’t do anything wrong. If it doesn’t work out, just try again with someone else.
