Hey. Been out the dating game for a few years. I went out last night with some friends and had a good time. The 2nd girl I talked to, I really vibed with – we danced and talked 1 on 1 for like 20 mins. I asked her for her number or IG and she gave me her phone and I typed in my instagram. She hasn’t accepted my request yet.

We have a lot in common and she 100% my type (compared to some others I talked to that night). What should I do?

1st of all dont even worry about it till she accepts your request. youre gonna get over-invested
as for next steps if she accepts it’ll depend on your overall approach. different approaches work for different people, we all have different personalities and vibes. so i’d say follow your instincts, but also make sure you ask her out on a date as soon as you both feel comfortable.
be intentional that you want to be romantic, you want to meet up. otherwise youre gonna end up with a pen-pal or a situationship. make it clear you dont wanna be friends. you want to take her out on a date.
