The girl in question had a boyfriend so I didn’t really see a reason to tell her I only really see her as a guy friend. I don’t really know what I can say to her as this is my first real relationship. Am I in the wrong

  1. It ain’t a good look, leaving something like that out. It gives the appearance that you’re trying to hide something.

  2. Ok, if you have to think “will my girlfriend be mad if I do it” it probably means she’s gunna get mad… would you feel 100% comfortable with her hanging out with a guy best friend? And having a boyfriend or girlfriend hasn’t stopped people from cheating or chasing, so that argument is in the grounds

  3. personally as a girl, I would be upset too. If i’m finding out that my boyfriend is hanging with a girl and did not even tell me, i’d be under the impression that he’s hiding something. since it’s your first real relationship, my advice is to just be honest and communicate with her. Wouldn’t want her to lose trust in you, especially if you’re a good guy.
