My wife and I have different schedules, I’m out the door pre-dawn for work and she is a sahm running the house and our two toddlers. We keep a dry erase marker near the bathroom mirror to leave each other silly, sexy or lovey notes. Only rule is no angry, chore related or downer messages. It’s a safe space for just happy thoughts.
We both are in turn excited to see the others notes on the mirror. And helps kickstart the day. It’s also where we send each other date night invites for wine in the living room when the kids go down on the weekend. It’s a real nice safe space and something we both look forward to.
10/10 recommend- put a marker next to your bathroom mirror for fun notes only.

My partner and I did this when we first moved in together. Now he has a whiteboard in his office that I sneak in to draw sneaky little wieners on.
Your tip reminded me of another tip… if someone accidentally uses a sharpie… your whiteboard just color over it with a dry erase marker… TADA! Whiteboard is good as new !

I do something similar with sticky notes. I put them with my wife’s lunch, in her drawer after the shower.
These types of small gestures really underpin a good relationship I feel.

I love this so much! We are moving next week and i think I’ll put a marker hanging from a little suction cup to the new bathroom mirror!
We not just put a dry erase board in/near the bathroom? It seems like an extra to have to wash the mirror several times a day.
Growing up my mom would draw on our mirrors the morning of our birthday. I did this for my husband one year and it totally threw him off.
