like is there a specific sword you would want over other ones? mainly curious as to how many of you have an opinion on swords.

  3. No, thank you. The kind of fantasy novels and movies that focus on swords tend to bore the shit out of me.

  4. I would like a claymore as tall as myself to hang on my wall.

    Edit: something in the style of Death’s sword in Hogfather would be fine, just bigger.

  6. Claymore. I used to be really into bleach as a kid so giant swords have always been cool to me.

  7. I want a flame bladed sword, BUT I want it to be sleek and sexy and a one handed sword.. so not the normal big bulky two handed sword and not a rapier.
    So it’s something I’d need some expert help designing and then be costom made.. but a girl can dream right

  9. Katana, short sword, rapier, scimitar, Falchion, broadsword, hooksword, claymore, or long sword. Honestly you could give me any type of sword and I would be ecstatic!! Falchion, short sword or hooksword would be my top three

    I’d want two- because to me they look to be used as if it’s an extension for your arms, with the long handle.

  12. If it’s someone I trust or can trust then it’s probably to protect me or as a gift. However if it’s from someone who I have a beef with them they probably want me to harm myself.

  13. Rune or dragon scimitar

    Eta: once I was working at an old couples place a couple of months ago and they had long swords hanging out around the house in umbrella holders, stands in the bathrooms, even sticking out of plants. My stance on swords has changed since then from a position of cringe to one of “I desperately need a decorative plant sword for the lols”
