Recently I tried exploring with a finger and found my vaginal canal doesn’t seem to angle towards my back but instead my bellybutton?? I have to make my finger into a C shape to get inside.

Is this normal, like every women has to make that shape when fingering??

I haven’t been able to find any references online. So are most women angled towards their spine and mine angles towards my bellybutton?

Does this make sex different as in the positions I can and can’t do?

  1. its normal, every vagina is angled slightly differently

sometimes even different times in your cycle will cause different angles

  2. Check with your gyno but you can’t check while bending over to use your own fingers. The act of checking will change your body position and the internal angle.

Regardless of physiology, everyone has positions they prefer, most for different reasons.

  3. I think you should check out this NSFW vagina casting art.

Your fingers are shorter than the vagina, won’t properly sense the angle of the full vagina. More space up in the beginning is common. The vagina changes shape, especially during arousal. More like a fireman’s hose than a stiff rubber garden hose. All women are unique and dynamic.

  4. Throughout my many years, I have had the pleasure of different women in my life. Each woman was different and each one was beautiful. For a male, this is the beauty of exploration of the female anatomy. Trust me, most men don’t care the angle, just the sensation.
