My best girlfriend and I are visiting London in December to spend a week for my birthday and, oh yeah, celebrate my divorce. I’ve visited before; she hasn’t. I’m looking for NIGHTLIFE ideas. I’m open to it all- I just don’t want to be surrounded by mostly 22 year olds who will inadvertently remind me that, despite being a relatively hot 35 year old, I am NOT 22.

  1. ~~City break to Berlin. Getting into some of the clubs depends on how you dress, what kind of vibe you give off. That said, Tresor and Suicide Circus are easy to get into if nothing else works out. Try and stay somewhere within walking distance of Warschauer Straße station.~~

City break to Bristol. Check out Headfirst for listings. Check out Strange Brew, The Black Swan, Dare 2 and Motion.

  2. Where in the U.K. will you be ? There’s no point recommending the leadmill in Sheffield if you aren’t leaving zone1.

  3. I recommend either Newcastle or London

No one knows how to go out out like newcastle but london for me is the most age friendly going out ive seen. I hardly see 18 y/o out in london, its always a healthy range from 20-45, most people in london are working professionals without families so the partying life span is longer.

  4. Shoreditch has some great things to do! And good prices. Bounce beer pong, Bally ballerson does good cocktail and VIP packages, hijingo is really good fun for a starting point or junkyard golf. Also lots of bars and pubs etc in that area, good transport links (taxi and public transport) have been on nights out with various friend groups (mid 20’s to 30s and mid 20s to 40s and all had a great time!)

  5. West end is a mixed bag. Theatres and stand up comedy and bars etc with people of all ages. Tou can just go out and you will find things by accident.

  6. If it includes 15th December I would recommend Bingo Lingo. It’s a great fun to start the night and then you can progress into clubs afterwards. Age wise, I’ve seen students, bachelorette parties, 40th parties, company groups etc. So it’s definitely “fun for all” type thing. But also can get very raunchy so you need to be comfortable with that

  7. Spearmint Rhino – might be a fun night!

Electric Shuffle is good, but also there’s a great village vibe all round London Bridge.
