  1. I’m trying to decide what colour to pick for a project car that’s going to get painted this winter. I’m thinking either [purple like this](https://imgur.io/ry7bOBf?r), or [green like this](https://imgur.io/ahXqDu2?r). I love the purple myself, but a lot of people I’ve shown the reference photo don’t seem to get it. It’s also a bit of a shot in the dark, I don’t know how that colour would actually look in the flesh. Never seen a car that shade of purple.

The green is sort of my safe-ish option. Still a quirky colour, but a bit safer. More people seem to like it. I love it, just love the purple a bit more.

  2. There’s a bunch of “walking tours” of various cities on YouTube.

I have to say Japanese cities look more quaint than I would have thought for such a dense place. Some of the videos remind me of the urban landscape in anime. Chinese cities are filled with 3-4 story buildings and look more crowded.

Turkey’s cities don’t have building weird trends I noticed, but it was odd how 80% of the women in a what seemed to be a central part of Istanbul dressed in western clothes (maybe even showed a bit more skin than in some western cities) while 80% of the women in Konya wore head covering and an abaya. Seems bizarre these cities are in the same country.

  3. Dear friends here, in front of all of you I solemnly swear that I won’t but any art supplies except to replenish what I run out of (and still need). I am done. It was fun and cute while I was trying out different stuff, but I am doing too much of buying and not enough of trying.

It seems like I went running during the only half hour rain period today. Classic 🙄
