Getting my IUD replaced, but that’s because the IUD itself was faulty so the ordeal took longer than it should have.
A broken temporary crown – my god that was one of the worst weeks of my life.
My C-section! My first was a natural delivery without pain meds and it was BY FAR less painful.
I sneezed unexpectedly the week after my heart surgery. I wept.
An EMG test. Just don’t do it unless it’s the last resort.
Having my planters warts frozen. I had 3 on the arch of my foot.
Gallstones. Before I knew what it was, I genuinely thought I might be dying. And by the time I made it to the doctor, she actually doubted it was really gallstones since most people don’t tolerate the pain for months before coming in.
My first pap smear.
Uterine biopsy.
Getting my IUD inserted. I have a really high pain tolerance but as me, the nurse, the nursing student, and the doctor all found out together, ***I have a goddamn crooked cervix*** so it took 15 minutes to get that little bastard in there.
Game of thrones grand finale
[removed]
Sometimes massages and facials (the extraction bit mainly)
The tattoo on my thigh. For some reason I had it in my head that it wouldn’t hurt there. Nope, I was wrong. It was one of the most painful ones I’ve had done. And he kept hitting a nerve that made my foot twitch.
Breaking a vertebra. Like, I assumed it to be extremely painful, but it was even more extremely painful than my worst expectation.
When the localised anaesthesia wears off after wisdom tooth removal. I wasn’t expecting it to be too painful, so I was wondering why the dentist gave me strong painkillers. then it hit me
I had a tooth pulled then noticed about a week later that MY JAW BONE was sticking through my gums ..but that wasn’t the painful part.
I returned to the dentist where they took a metal file (the tool, like they’d file pieces of wood with) and filed down my jaw one right then and there. No anesthesia. Nothing. The next 4 days I experienced the worst pain of my life.
Everything about an iud
Minor gynecological surgery without any sort of anesthesia…
Kidney stones. Even with the maxima amount of morphine they can give, as soon as a wave hits it’s “hands and knees on the A+E floor alternating between screaming and vomiting”.
Rejection in proposal
Braces.
After 2 days I called my doc to get them removed. He said sorry. There was an appointment only the next day. But then it was fine. I was lucky. Or he lied. I’m not sure. Maybe he knew.
