So I have a friend that I will call J. J said to me when we last hung out that we could hangout at my house when J never likes going to people’s houses. So I was confused and curious why J said yes to hanging out at my house. Today I planned to hangout with a mutual friend of ours and they agreed to hangout with me. I texted J and asked them if they wanted to hangout with us. But J ended up saying no and that I don’t like going anywhere and I don’t go to people’s houses.
What should I take from this and why did J say yes once but not this time?

Perhaps J is shy and does not feel comfortable hanging out in a group setting? Just a guess. Maybe he feels closer to you than this other friend.
