I have yet to find one that does not have this deceptive packaging meaning there is only 75% of product inside as what you think you are buying judging by the outer size.

    Two reasons I can think of tho: to deter theft and it makes them easier to transport/stack

  3. I’ve not seen then with 25% void. They usually, like spreadable butter have a small (2-5mm at a guess) raised section which I’m fairly sure is primarily to do with the rigidity of the container in a similar way to many bottles have striations on them.
